The 2022 line-up of Neo QLED and Lifestyle TVs from Samsung Electronics features improvements in picture and sound quality, greater screen sizes, customizable accessories, and an improved Smart TV interface, creating a new standard for home entertainment.

According to Jeremy Senior, vice president of consumer electronics at Samsung Electronics, "bigger screens, ideal sound quality, and cutting-edge picture quality remain of the highest priority for Australians as they look for premium at-home entertainment experiences. These features were created to suit the evolving needs of how TVs are used in homes.

Evolution of Neo QLED with Neo Quantum Processor and Dynamic Sound Experience

2022 Neo QLED will offer crystal-clear images and immersive soundscapes that users have never before heard thanks to the Neo Quantum Processor and the remarkable picture technology and sound it delivers.

This year’s Neo Quantum Processor introduces a new Shape Adaptive Light technology that leverages the Processor’s powerful AI algorithms to analyse lines, shapes and surfaces and control the shape of light from the advanced Quantum Mini LED backlight, maximising the brightness and accuracy of shapes on the screen.
The result is a Samsung TV with the most realistic image ever created thanks to increased 14-bit HDR processing, which quadruples Neo QLED's greyscale levels compared to 2021 and enables HDR content to be fully displayed.

Real Depth Enhancer, a multi-intelligence image quality algorithm, is another feature of Samsung's 2022 Neo QLED. It adds a sense of depth to objects on the screen by analysing how they contrast with their backgrounds.

Additionally, Samsung's 2022 Neo QLED has a built-in light sensor that adjusts the screen's brightness and tone based on information about sunset and sunrise.

The screen will progressively dim the brightness and provide warmer tones when the ambient light changes, adjusting the blue light levels accordingly.
Lowering blue light makes nighttime viewing more comfortable.

The sound characteristics of Neo QLED are also getting a significant update.
Building on OTS (Object Tracking Sound), which directs the sound to move across the room along with the object on-screen, Neo QLED will advance their in-house technology in 2022 by adding native Dolby Atmos support. This will make Neo QLED the first TV in the industry to support Dolby Atmos with upwards and side-firing speakers for three-dimensional sound without the need for add-ons.

"Dolby Atmos will be available right out of the box on Samsung's 2022 Neo QLEDs.
For an excellent three-dimensional sound experience, we are pleased to use industry-leading audio technology.
Neo QLED offers a dynamic audio experience that follows actions from every angle thanks to multi-channel speakers distributed throughout the TV.

The New Smart Hub and Apps for the Ultimate User Experience

The new Smart Hub included with Samsung's 2022 Smart TVs brings content curation and discovery front and centre concerning customer viewing habits.
The updated Smart Hub will save customers time by directing them to their preferred material or by assisting them in learning something new.
Users may concentrate on various in-home activities thanks to the Smart Hub's sidebar's ability to smoothly switch between Media and Ambient categories.

*Enjoy all the top applications: Samsung gives Australians access to all the top apps on their new Smart Hub, including local favourites like Stan, Kayo, and Binge as well as international apps like Paramount+, Netflix, and Disney+.

*Galaxy TV Plus: Enjoy free streaming TV with a selection of news, sports, entertainment, and more channels. It is completely free and doesn't need any additional setup before use.

*NFT Platform: To give Samsung TV users access to the NFT experience, Samsung worked with the well-known NFT marketplace, Nifty Gateway.

For finding, buying, and trading digital art on Neo QLED and The Frame, the programme offers a simple, integrated platform.

*Users can adjust the settings for the best possible picture quality with the help of the smart calibration feature.

Using a compatible smartphone camera, the basic model's screen calibration can be completed in about 30 seconds, while the professional mode takes around 10 minutes to optimise the screens for crystal-clear picture quality.

Award-Winning Lifestyle TVs with Seamless Integration of Design and Technology

The Samsung 2022 Lifestyle screens offer a one-of-a-kind, personalised experience by effortlessly fusing design and technology.
The Frame, The Sero, and The Serif now have a new Anti-Glare Matte Display that offers anti-reflection and anti-fingerprint qualities, making for an extraordinarily pleasurable and comfortable viewing experience.
As a consequence, UL verified three times the new Anti-Glare Matte Display on Samsung's 2022 Lifestyle panels.

  • Thanks to the anti-glare, low-reflection panel technology with an embossed, Anti-Glare Matte Display, The Frame now provides an amazingly realistic art-viewing experience outside of a museum.
Additionally, it lessens the appearance of fingerprints and smudges so that consumers can enjoy their favourite artwork in flawless condition.
Sizes for the Frame range from 32" to 85".

  • The Serif also has a matte finish body to match the Anti-Glare Matte Display flawlessly and elevate the iconic design for a more luxurious appearance and feel.
The Serif is now available in sizes ranging from 43" to 65" thanks to the inclusion of a 65" size option.

  • The Sero now comes in Blue and White colour options and provides an enhanced viewing experience with its new Matte Display in both vertical and horizontal modes.
By enabling users to simultaneously view several pieces of material on the top and bottom of the screen, or conduct online research while they watch, the new vertical MultiView elevates multitasking to a new level.

"Light can be difficult in any living area since reflections can affect how people view and appreciate art and photographs.
To provide a genuine experience when using the TV in Art and Ambient Mode+, Samsung has implemented state-of-the-art anti-glare and anti-reflection technology into the newest model of The Frame, The Serif, and The Sero," says Senior.
